ОШ „Вук Караџић“ је имала три представника на државном такмичењу, а то су Страхиња Јовановић, Миона Бранковић и Михајло Видановић. Учесницима Државног такмичења нису додељиване награде због формата такмичења у условима епидемије, али су првопласирани такмичари позвани на Српску информатичку олимпијаду (СИО) која је одржана у образовном центру Комтрејд у Београду 23.08.2020. у 12ч.
Наш представник на овогодишњој СИО био је Страхиња Јовановић који је пласман остварио у веома тешкој конкуренцији.
Српска информатичка олимпијада је највиши ранг такмичења из информатике у нашој земљи.
Државно такмичење из информатике је одржано у измењеној форми и прилагођеној ситуацији у земљи изазваној епидемијом, односно преко онлајн платформе https://arena.petlja.org/.
